“Non-management employees of Coal India Ltd (CIL), its subsidiaries and Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) will receive an amount of Rs 72,500 as DPP for fiscal year 2020-21,” Maharatna said in a statement.
The decision was taken on Monday at a bipartite meeting of representatives of trade union centers (CTUs), members of the standardization committee of the JBCCI-X and of the management of the CIL and the SCCL, which was held at the office of the CIL in New Delhi, according to the statement.

The company said 250,052 people will benefit from the move, the statement said.
In particular, the non-executive management employees of CIL, its subsidiaries and SCCL had received last year an amount of Rs 68,000 as a DPP.
CIL represents more than 80 percent of the national coal production.
